We arrived late at night by ferry from Hokkaido, so the hotel - located just a short drive from the ferry port - was perfect for arrival at 22:00. I was concerned our late check-in time might mean the hotel's parking lot would be full, forcing us to search for another lot in an unfamiliar city, but when I called prior to our departure the hotel staff assured me they would keep a space open, and they did - directly in front of the hotel entrance! Check-in was efficient, the room clean and comfortable, and the breakfast the next morning satisfactory. All in all, we were very pleased with the hotel, its staff and its service.

general location was central to the water front and shopping. only an easy15 min walk to the train station. Hotel was quiet and had many self-serve facilities including laundry. It seemed to be popular with visiting business people as it had meeting rooms and a conference room.

The room is bigger than average and the place is comfy, the staff is also very, very nice! The location is also great, the port near is a good place to take a walk and look at the fish swimming.
